About me

Hi. My name is Simon and I teach English for Online Englischkurs! I’m a native English speaker from England and at the moment, I’m living near London. I’ve been teaching English for many years, and I’ve lived and taught in several countries around the world, including in Japan, Switzerland, France and the USA, so I’ve worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. I’m a professional English teacher, and I started to teach it as I’ve always been very interested in learning languages, and I enjoy helping others to learn English. I speak French, German and a little Japanese myself. I focus on general and business English, and I teach lots of natural expressions, as well as grammar and vocabulary and so on of course. I’ve also got lots of experience preparing students for exams, such as the Cambridge Exams, CELTA and IELTS etc. Students learn a lot with me. Outside of work, I love to travel, run and bike in my local forest, and I also did the London Marathon last year! People tell me I’m a good teacher and I’m friendly in nature. I relax my students, which helps their English a lot as well. I just love teaching English and helping people achieve their objectives. Thanks very much for your time!
