Background

Perhaps I’m different to some other teachers because my background is in international business. I held a number of senior roles (principally in finance) for more than 20 years. Whilst spending time in various countries I learned to speak several foreign languages. Therefore I can understand the difficulties faced by learners and the frustrations and embarassments that sometimes arise. For this reason a large percentage of my students are those who wish to improve not only their general use of the English language but also their skills in a business context.
